At the very outset let me apprise you that I have been a student of this premier college and that gives me enthusiasm and motivation to contribute to my alma mater. The college has the distinction of being the first college in J&K to be awarded with College for Potential with Excellence & Autonomous certification by the UGC. I am with a mission to take the legacy of this institution forward; for that I shall strive my level best and your cooperation is sought in this regard. Cooperation in terms of following the rules and regulations of the college and maintaining punctuality. We at Islamia College ensure that the personal development and career progression of learners is taken care of. The college envisages accomplishing its Vision and Mission by offering best education and setting higher standards. In view of the introduction of NEP 2020, the college is adapting to new paradigms, the admissions being offered through CUET from 2023 onwards.
